a bit much though.. no sense owning a sb-e.. they preform worse than the 2700k in most game @ stock. the 3960k and the whole sb-e lineup in general is geared towards a more professional use. you also have 16gb ram.. after half that you stop seeing preformance improvements and after 110gb you actually lose preformance. so you have crippled yourself twice by going with the biggest price tags. this year was a bad year to do that XD granted @ 12gb you dont lose much. assuming things scale youve lost anywhere from 8-10fps for a cost of alot ----ing more (when gaming) from a professional standpoint u have a heck of a folding or multimedia machineNo problems there then :P
I've only just noticed your system - that's damn nice.

Are you sure ill louse performance in gaming ? Whit Quad Channel, and 1600Mhz DDR3 on the SB-E ? I dont realy think so mate. I see people are buying rigs whit 2133MHz Ram, yes the ram will proces the memory on 2133 but it will send it whit 1600 so no point. Whit SB you get 1333 Mhz, so SB-E is faster for 330Mhz.

RAM speeds are pretty negligible - you won't notice a difference.
