I really can't wait for this game to drop but i don't think i'll get it if it's pay to play. Someone, please tell me this isn't true!!!:(

Er... Torchlight 2 is not going to be the MMO. It is going to be Torchlight 2... with Multiplayer Support. Thus, yes.. it will be P2P. Why are you averse to paying for a quality game?carlosjuero

What P2P term are you saying yes to? Peer 2 Peer or Pay 2 Play (monthly fee)?

Torchlight 2 is free online multiplayer similar to Diablo 2. They are also making a Torchlight MMO, but it so far it seems way far in the distant future.

lol I will probably get TL2 while I wait for Diablo III, but we will see how things pan out.

Call me crazy, but Torchlight 2 looks more interesting than Diablo III. I can't put my finger on why exactly, but it looks more appealing to me.

Also, TC, there is going to bea Torchlight MMO, but it isn't Torchlight 2. Think of Diablo II and you'll have a basic understanding of what Torchlight II is aiming for.

If tl2 is p2p, then i think i'll avoid it until diablo 3, provided diablo isnt p2p aswell

Diablo 3 might not come out until late 2012 - there's plenty of time for Runic Game to make some money off Torchlight 2.

Ya, there is no way I believe a game like torchlight is pay 2 play. So, I will asume you meant peer 2 peer which I dont see a reason to complain because torchlight isnt really a suitable game for servers (IMO).

It's ok if save games are stored on servers... if they're stored locally it might not turn out too well.
