Scratch Problem

I just received my Dell studio 15 and my cousin tried to get me angry and scratched it with her belt. I can just like paint over it because there is a design on the front. How could i lessen the damage?

If you mean the screen, get your folks involved, she should be shelling out for a new one. If you mean the outside case, then what's the problem? It's not a fashion accessory.
