Has anyne here purchased or installed a Scythe Mugen 2 heatsink/CPU Cooler?

If so did you encounter any problems ? Can you give me any handy tips/advice for when i do build my rig ?

Im kinda worried that this maybe hard to install with my motherboard due to size

Anyone?

I have the original Mugen, the Scythe Infinity. I don't know if the Mugen 2 is the same, but the pins on the first Mugen had to be rotated into the right position before they would lock down to the board.

well apparently i have to unscrew the already fixed bracket that comes with motherboard or sumthin then screw these metals things to mugens then screw back that comes with mugen on the back of motherboard in the brackets place then screw the metal brackets on mugen to the brackets behind the motherbooard :( this sounds very complicated/dangerous (could damage components) plus where it so big could effect other components and installing it i was just curious whether anyone has dealt with one of these :(

That sucks :( Mine popped right onto my board without needing to change anything. I've had to change backplates in the past though, and it wasn't bad at all. It sounds like alot more work than it really is. I hope that it doesn't give you too much trouble :)
