Searching relaxing games

Hey Guys,

Im searching for a game I can relax with, like when I come home at the evening and just wanna relax with a game. I would like it if the game is playable with a controller, so I don't want games like Sim City or Rollercoaster Tycoon which are relaxing too. I hope you guys find me some games :D

I'd recommend you a real relaxing game - Grow Home.

stardew valley. a very easy going game (unless you dont want it to be). there is no clear objective....just do what you want.

I find Dreamfall and Dreamfall Chapters very relaxing. They focus so much on story and narrative that they're not so much games as interactive novels. All you do is look around, solve simple puzzles and enjoy the story.

This is pretty much the most relaxing shit out right now. It was really short but it was quite an experience. If you don't know about this game search it on Steam. It's made by the maker of Journey. It's pretty much a jaw dropping (linear) swim through the ocean. You swim from point A to B and a bunch of cool stuff happens. It feels like playing a Pixar movie. It was really high production values and great graphics and music. Check it out...

@PredatorRules: I've heard about abzu and journey (I think there was another one too. Flower I think) but I've never played them. Guess I'll start to play them all :D

I'm like you, I like to have a calm evening after work without those tense gaming moments that some games have.
I play Final Fantasy XIV, it's very laidback, do some quests, grind some enemies, fishing, gathering plants, crafting items, cooking, chatting with other players, upgrade your gear, just strolling around in that huge beautiful world. It's very relaxing.

I found "Life is strange" to be a captivating, but relaxing game. Episode 1 is free on steam right now!

The Sims 4 is another good relaxing game to play sure its not controller friendly yet but i tried out the trial on Origin and it was fun played the whole trial which is a 48hr trial I believe.

Ummm...what?!? Life is Strange is pretty gut wrenching from start to finish and is probably the farthest thing from relaxing as possible.

King Quest episode 1.

ABZU is incredible. More importantly, they somehow made swimming aimlessly entertaining, and the game actually has meditation in it. There are some "action" parts but even those are not stressful because you can't die.

Prominence Poker for me... relaxing, you never have to run like mad.
