i noticed i got a lot of old pc games and some new ones like company of heroes, daw of war, crysis , battfield ones ect.

i been looking around and it seems GAME and GAMESTATION dont buy old pc games only console ones, but seen a site called. CEX.CO.UK who buy old pc games via either store or online.

anyone delt with them? the prices they buy seem pretty good ie, 1 pound for most old pc games then upto 20ish for the newer ones, as long as they got manuals ect and disc inclu.

any help be great as i looking to sell these for cash as i want to get some upgrades for my bike,

While I've never traded in PC games, I have seen Gamestation selling old and I think used PC games, so I'd assumed they did do trade in on them. Your best bet may just be to list them on ebay. Start them at 99p, charge a bit for postage and it will probably get you more than the rubbish trade in prices.

I haven't used them but I've used half.com extensively. It is an off-shoot of ebay dedicated to media. I pieced out my Xbox and games and ended up with enough to buy an Xbox360, accessoriesand 3 games.

Its a whole lot easier than Ebay. Once you get your account setup, you just look up the item and click "sell my copy"

I don't know about in the UK but in the US this is a violation of the user licensing agreement and is illegal except under very specific exceptions. Not that that would stop a lot of people but personally I would make sure this isn't illegal just to be on the safe side. Also if you are going to sell them I would check prices first. Some games like Jedi Academy, KOTOR I, and certain collectors edition games have very high resell values as collectors items and as long as these are not installed, this is legal.

Use www.goozex.com and trade them in for value. I do this regularly because I tend to get 5x the trade-in value on my console games when contrasted with Gamestop. I don't know if they're U.S. only, but it's worth a look... and yes, they let you trade PC games.
