Should i get Modern Warfare 2 on pc ? And why is the score lower?

I was wondering if i should get modern warfare 2 on pc ,im asking because it has a lower score on pc,is it really better on consoles,and what are the differences between the 2?



PS:Does it have leaderboards on pc?

If you have a 360 I would get it for that instead. For one the Community on the 360 is 10X more than the PC version and it is simple to get together with friends and play. The PC version also has lots of cheating. It is up to you but imo the only thing you are missing by not getting the PC version is the mouse controls which imo isn't as satisfying as a controller since all you do is point and click. If you want to get it in PC, go ahead people just dont like that it has no dedicated survers. I have tons of friends who have the PC version over the Xbox because it uses steam and steam has free online. I would get the PC versiom myself if you can run it.

Also for haters on me I own all the Consoles and a High end PC. Love them all.

The PC version got gimped big time in terms of features, almost to the point that the only difference between the PC and the console version is the keyboard and mouse, and the PS3 has the Frag Pro and Frag FX.hiphops_savior

The pc version is still the best version of the game, the reason that it got low scores (not low enough in my opinion) is that pc gamers expect (quite rightly) more from their games than console players.

If you don't have cod 4, get that instead, it's a better game in every way.

Modern warfare 2 is basically modern warfare without dedicated servers, without mods and with a frame cap of 85. It's a step, nay, a giant leap backwards. It was supposed to be as good as if not better than cod4, it doesn't even deserve to mentioned in the same breath :D

That's not to say it's a terrible game, bad cod is still cod.

It got a lower score because of IW.FAIL. There is nothing wrong with the game itself, sp, spec ops and the actual multiplayer gameplay are all good imo, but sitting there waiting for a lobby: GAME LOBBY CLOSED, CAN NOT CONNECT TO HOST, COULD NOT MIGRATE HOST, SERVER CONNECTION LOST, STEAM CONNECTION LOST and of course my favourite, exiting and getting put into the exact same lobby 13 times (the lobby being full of hackers) before it changes me to another lobby. IW.NET is fail and the game would be so much better with dedicated servers.

mw2 sucks basically, the devs took out a LOT of content and increased the price; only a fool would buy it really. cod4 you get MORE content and its cheaper.Dr_Brocoli

There aren't dedicated servers for either version, it's all p2p.
