Should I get WOW???

I am thinking about it is it worth it?? I LOVE DRAGON AGE so will I like this?

Read some reviews, watch gameplay and maybe play the free trial. Dragon Age and WoW share little in common.

vanilla wow was great. now..... the game has just turned into total garbage.

I played WoW since WotLK came out and raided all of the expansions content. Stopped playing once I killed 25M Lich King. I enjoyed the game a lot, but its quite the grind. I wouldn't pick it up until Cataclysm if I were you, this current expansion is almost over.

Onwards to the Guild Wars discussion. Its not really an MMO. In the cities you are with everyone on the server, however, once you leave the town you are only with the people in your party. I can't recall the total amount of people allowed in one party, but it isn't very significant.

this is a minus , guild wars is worst mmo ever made , its not even a mmo , horrible horrible game ... and if you enjoyed dragon age there is a high chance that you will enjoy wow , its a best mmorpg out there so its your best pick atm :)Farkeman

Dragon Age and WoW share very little common my friend. Check some videos, play the trial, then mkae your decision. I love it personally.

Imho: NO!

WoW isn't a bad game (played some months myself in vanilla) BUT it is a definitive time killer!

The amount of time you will put into that game to achieve at least some of the goals (equip your avatar, clear instances, get titles etc.) is enough to complete all the top games of at least the last 5 years.

I decided to do the latter, and I never looked back at WoW.

I say get Tabalusa Rasa, the community is great and the servers are packed:D

Play the trial and decide. Don't listen to the haters or people with zero self-control.

I love the game and play only 3 or 4 hours a week. Have a lvl 80 with decent gear. My wife also has a lvl 80. RyTEK and Esalora on Perenolde. I'm really looking forward to the next expansion - its going to be great to start at lvl 1 again and take my current toon to lvl 85.

The vanilly WoW argument is so cliché you haters...

World of Warcraft is a decent game, but the people that play it... OMG THERE ARE SO MANY **** HOLES! I played on the Horde. The people that played the Horde were addicted to swearing, sex talk and insulting other players. Not all of them are. I met a few nice people. But the majority were as i described. I gave the Alliance a go. The people that play Alliance were more civilised, mature people. I would have been Alliance myself But i loved the Tauren race (on the Horde). I quit the game a while ago, but im going to come back some day soon.

WoW is not as great as it was in vanilla. They killed the community with cross-realm LFG, epics are easier to get than low level grays, PvP is not as hardcore without the honor system,and three words: 40-man raids. The game is so easy now that there's almost no point in trying to get decked out in gear because eventually everyone's going to get there... and then another patch will come out and the cycle continues.

Back in vanilla, it wasn't uncommon for some guilds to be struggling in MC while another was getting through AQ40. Nowadays, EVERYONE is raiding ICC. As soon as the Lich King patch hit, all other raids became obsolete and that's how this game is going to continue unless they make it more hardcore.

Its not that bad, but it can get terribly addicting, but just as many people spend way to much time on COD as WOW.

The only reason you can addicted is because of the amount of time it takes you to lvl to 80 and get all the gear, but once you get there it isn't so time consuming, and much more fun.
