should i upgrade from hd 4890 to hd 5850?

i got some extra cash to spend...but is it a worthy upgrade from hd 4890 to hd 5850....i need some suggestion to get me going on getting a decision...

No its not worth it, I would wait for the 2nd generation of Direct X 11 cards.

Wait for the 6xxx series or 5xxx refresh to come out, your 4890 will do just fine for now.

Wait!... I have a HD4890 and I see no point everything runs fine and looks fine.

upgrade something else, a second 4890, a speaker system, hard drive space, ram, kb/m etc whatever. but leave your current graphics card its fine.

5850 is an excellent card, but I was coming from a 4670. My upgrade was worth it, and I had planned on it too.

Lol... Pretty much the same situation I'm in. I'm debating replacing my 4890's with a 5970 under a CoolIT Omni ALC.
