I've tried several house mods, and during the course of trying them the already crash plagued Skyrim ran even more rampant with crashing. It went from crashing every couple of hours or so, to every 2 minutes, which is ATROCIOUS. Are there any player home mods that do not send you crashing into oblivion?

The house mods that I've tried are the Asteria, Riverwood Lodge, Dovahkiin retreat and hideout, as well as the inside Waterfall home mod.

So does anyone know of anything that actually works as intended that does not completely ruin your game experience by crashing it every 10 seconds?

Don't know what to tell you. I use those mods, my system is identical to yours and my Skyrim never crashes.

What I would do is a fresh install, sometimes some mods dont work well together and you get crashes/conflicts. Try with no mods and then add one at a time and see how it works in game, that way if something happens you know its the LAST one you just added.

Also NEXUS MOD MANAGER is very good to.

I have the Nexus mod manager, I suppose I'll try out different ones.

All the mods you stated work perfectly fine and should work all together as well. There is something wrong with your game so I would recommend a fresh install.

Does it only crash with Skyrim? If not, you might have OCed your system too aggressively. Some of those mods get kinda crazy with the textures and lighting, could be overheating your GPU.

It was the "Unlimited Bookshelfs" mod that was making me crash. That and Riverwood Resort mod has issues. I removed that, downloaded Deus Mons, and Evil Lair seems to be working perfectly with no CTD's in the past few hours.

The house mods that have been updated for 1.5 patch is fine. At Skyrim Nexus the mod Deus Mons is working good for me and is one of the best house mods.

Have you tried applying some of those mods with Steam Workshop? (if they are available)

I have had the same crashing problems with all my ouse mods except for the wizard's house that you use a spell to get to. It is not my favorite house but it is workable and has its benefits since you can go there from within a cave or whatever and store your stuff or enchant or whatever and when you cast the spell again you are back in the same spot.
