I am looking to replace my stock intel core i7 cpu fan and as I look at the various videos on these types of 120mm fans I find that they are fricken huge. I have an alienware area 51 case and I'm not sure if I can fit any of these things. Anyone have any idea if I can fit these fans inside my case? I am looking for the best performance I can possibly get with something that I can actually fit. On a side note im using an Asus x58 motherboard.

I tried measuring myself with a ruler, but to be honest I simply do not trust my own measurements and I trust you guys much more.

Hi Ya the 120mm fanCPU coolers of the tower heatpipe type

tend to be pretty tall. Generally they are around 160mm

tall. I would suggest going with a 120mm fan type. They

work much better than a 92mm type. If it is difficult to

measure then call or e-mail Alienware and ask the

support team.
