So am i the only one who thinks borderlands is boring?

Just got it today and,...well, I don't have much to say except that I got super bored after an hour and never want to play it again. Its like a children's fallout 3. I feel like the game is the generic version of fallout 3. And I have a 9800 GTX+ and all my games run fine, except for this. And don't say its the card b/c its not. I can't have any of the goodies on, only textures, or else it chunks up.

just awful. can't believe that Deus Ex all those years ago managed to do the action/rpg thing better than anyone can really pull off these days. not my kind of game.

:lol: Me too dude. While playing Borderlands, I kept wishing that they made the game an actual RPG with real RPG elements. I was thinking about how awesome Deus Ex coop would be. :(

I just ordered it an hour ago online, will arrive tomorrow. I'll only be playing it for the single player, possibly a little multiplayer to try it out. Just hoping someone will make a splitscreen mod haha.

Deus Ex gunplay was actually pretty bad... It was an RPG/FPS game. Borderlands is first and foremost an action FPS with very few RPG elements. I actually think that Deus Ex would make a terrible co-op game because the action is so slow paced and the enemies don't vary that much. I heard there was a System Shock 2 co-op that might be worth trying.

Either way, Borderlands makes for a much more intense co-op experience and I love how the designed the weapons. The enemy variety is also quite good and the bosses are very fun to play against with some friends. Yeah, it has a crap single player experience. I wouldn't play it if someone paid me to, but the co-op is extraordinarily fun with a few close buddies.
