All looks good.

What brand is the Power supply, or is this a prebuilt?

Next time can you put spaces in between the different components :) Its hard reading that block of text.

Whats the monitor resolution you will be using?

That CPU and GPU will tear through any game at 720p or 1080p.

You should be good for two years I would say before you will start wanting a new GPU. But that really depends on how demanding newer games get.

thanks =) and its a full hd monitor about 21.5 1080p display.... just trying to learn some stuff now that im getting into this field of gaming lol..... so games like crysis 2 will play at full hd high settings with a good fps and lag free? how many fps do you suspect i can pull out of games like wow that are less graphically demanding?

Check out this review of the 6970:

http://www.techspot.com/review/348-amd-radeon-6970/

Now you will be playing at a slightly lower resolution. 1920x1200 is a 16:10 ratio, while you will be playing at 1920x1080 or a ratio of 16;9, so you expect maybe an extra frame per second here and there.

Essentially you want a FPS of higher than 40... (30 minumum, anything below that is getting hard to play and looks like it is stuttering), but some people like to get 60FPS (which is generally slightly faster than the human eye can pick up I think...

so my only issue is overpricing? i dont mind that if the system and case quality is nice to support updates over the years i mean it being an alienware doesnt mean its going to blowup in 3 mts right?????

Not only pricing, but the quality of things like the case, PSU, mobo are not going to be as good. I also believe Alienware/Dell use proprietary connections (e.g. PSU), which will make things difficult.

Is that single video card or crossfire? If its single GPU you could've saved $500 building it yourself, but still a beast sytem that won't lag in any current or near future games in 1080p.

I go with alienware

I pay more because I don't want to pay less if it means sending American jobs overseas.

Also, building a rig sucks for the following reasons

The components on my new rig run just a few hundred more than if i purchased separately

Wiring a motherboard is a hassle

Sick of dealing with 12 different warranties on individual parts. My rig has one warranty-if it crashes I call Alienware and dont have to waste a lot of time troubleshooting different parts.
