i have roughly $60 to spend on a game(s). Obviously PC games, since this is the PC Games forums, but anyway....

Can anyone make some suggestions as to what i should buy? I can't decide... I enjoy:

FPS's: I own CoD, UO,2; BF2 and 2142 and Half Life 2+ EP. 1 which came in a pack with CS, DoD, and STALKER

RTS's: I already have LOTR BFME II, Company of Heroes, and Medieval II

RPG's: I have Gothic 3, ES IV Oblvion, KOTOR 1 and 2

I'm not the biggest fan of MMO's, but i played Guild Wars Prophecies and Factions, which i really like...

As you can see, i have a large library of games. Please make some suggestions based on what i like. Also, a multiplayer component is nice, but not completely important (ex. STALKER and Half Life).

Also, how is BF2142 Northern Strike? Does anyone play it?

Try F.E.A.R. I believe it is only $40. Fable: The Lost Chapters was also fun while it lasted.

I'm having a blast playing Titan Quest online. Neverwinter Nights 2 is a very good RPG.

I've recently started playing Dark Age of Camelot again and I can't believe how much fun I am having. The game is a little dated but I still feel it has the one of the best pvp systems around. The zergs can be a little annoying at times but other than that its a solid game.

Tips, give the game a few days before jumping off the wagon. LvL in the battlegrounds, plus its a great spot to make some friends and group. Talk to people when you see them solo. Chances are they are lfg.

Out of all the MMOs around I would say to give this game a try (my husband is yelling over my shoulder to play EVE) dont listen to him :) Try DAOC!

there are three fps games i think you should buy, and with $60 you might be able to get all three

1. escape from butcher bay - it's an awesome blend of frenetic action and tense stealth with some neat roleplay-y quests in there that you very rarely see in fps games, and the story (while generic and simple) is very nicely told and has some realistic feeling characters

2. fear - the ultimate for crazy hollywood style firefights - it has the best ai in any fps ever, it has awesome visuals, it has slow motion, it has a fantastic selection of guns that sound and feel fantastic, it has melee combat, it has the best firefights in any game i've ever played

3. rainbow six: vegas - quite overlooked by pc gamers (i overlooked it took, but picked it up recently on a whim) - it's got fantastic firefights too, you use cover more or less exactly like in gears of war (it's a simple system but it's well implemented), and you lead a team of two other guys who act awesomely like special commando dudes, you've got all kinds of cool stuff like quick rope rapelling wires (you can turn upside down and shoot at guys!) and it simply has the best sound i've ever heard in any game ever... every bullet impacts stuff and feels like it's really hitting it, and stuff reacts realistically - you get a real sense of genuine danger... and i say all this as a (former) rainbow six purist, refusing to play a r6 game since rogue spear - it's well worth your time and money
