I noticed Gamespot had some code give-away for this game, which I missed out on. Still, it kinda caught my attention - a Marvel online game. Hmm...

So I started downloading this game and updating all of the patches. I'm just curious about what people think of Marvel Heroes 2015, those who've played it? I don't have massively high expectations, but I'm hoping it's fun.

A big question I have, after looking at the list of Marvel characters on the main web page, is which characters are available to start the game with? Can you just be anyone from the start? Or do you choose from a select few and then unlock the rest? If so, who is available from the start?

Also what is the game like? Is it anything like Marvel Ultimate Alliance? Is it kind of RTS-y? I'd like to hear from people who have actually played the game.

Hello.

I am playing this game from the day 1.

Ironman lvl60, Wolverin lvl60 and 6 more lower lvl chars...

This game started as an average game and has become, after one year with a lot of patches, a great ARPG (diablo like).

It has hell a lot of things to do and lately they added raids!!!

In the begining you can choose a character that worth 200 or 400 splinters (splinter is ingame currency that allows you to buy characters and other goodies). If you choose a 200 splinter char you can get 200 splinters when you 1st time defeat the story mode. If you choose a 400 splinter char, you simply don't get 200 splinters when you defeat the story mode.

Here's the list of the starter heroes:

200 Eternity Splinter / 450G ($4.50) Heroes:

Black Widow

Hawkeye

Storm

400 Eternity Splinter / 900G ($9.00) Heroes:

Black Panther

Captain America

Colossus

Human Torch

Luke Cage

Punisher

Generally the way you can aquire a hero is the same as LOL. Either you can play and collect splinters or you can just buy them with real money (not needed nowadays since you can choose a char from a large pool and if you got bored from your favorite char you can always buy more chars with splinters you collect).

Loading Video...

If you like diablo/torchlight etc etc and you like the marvel universe (like me) then Marvel Heroes is your game :).

ps: Did I mention that is completely free to play(F2P)? (I just bought more stash slots cause I am too lazy to clear my inventory XD)

Got Everything that has the title Diablo on it, is a game and comes from Blizzard. Playing Diablo series for 16 years (every year!!!).

I can tell you that this game is awesome. From today's ARPG like POE, Torchlight 2, Diablo 3 and Marvel Heroes, Diablo 3 is the worst among them (And this comes from someone that has over 1000 hours of gameply and also CE...).

When Marvel Heroes was released, it was only for fans. More like a 5,5-6 average game. Today after all these patches after 1 year of the most changed game I ever seen in a year, it deserves a 8-8,5.

In the end it comes to this: Do you like ARPGs and Marvel? This is your answer.

I'm closing in on that 1000 hour mark pretty quick, and I'm still thoroughly enjoy my D3, especially with all the recent improvements. I get the attraction to Marvel character that you can level up and gear and the works, I just can't see how it can work. Perhaps I will give it a try, who knows, maybe I love it

Well its free to play so it doesn't cost anything to try it (unless you have ISP monthly download limit).

If you play alone and not with a friend/guild etc etc and you continue playing Diablo 3 then you are a hero that deserves a medal of honor :P.

ps: Diablo 3 might be good when 2.1 comes to live... But to behonest what Diablo lacks more is content. Rifts are not like random map and we need more acts. Also a few things are missing from heroes' skills like the most obviously unexplained absent, Fireball...

ps2: I forgot to mention that this game is a work of some of Diablo 2!!! makers like David Bravik (co-founder of Blizzard North) :)

I played Marvel Heroes for awhile and I thought it was great. I do prefer Diablo 3, but for a F2P game it is great.

I have all but 3 heroes at level 60 and all but 2 unlocked. Its a good game that still has its problems but has come on a long way since I started playing on release day. I have yet to spend any money on it so it really can be free to play with all heroes to anyone. The only thing you might want to get is more storage space. My super group help out with storing items when needed or give them away to you if you need something and they have spares.

In game I am FlashAHAH, feel free to add me as a friend in game if you want some advice and help.
