D'oh, you know the reason already ;) they made it more expensive so that PC gamers won't feel bad because they don't have the highly overpriced and useless super mega platinum gold plated quadruple mega awesome NVG edition. This way we buy the game for more and feel better :). Anyway I'll be getting it probably after the first 1 or two patches. The only one that I'll wait for a price drop is WaW, until it's 20$ I'm not getting it, so that means I have to wait for 5 or 6 years. i didnt like waw at all the weapons feel.... actually thats the point they dont "feel" at all they are totally identical and very accurate, you can unload a bar in full auto and all bullets with hit at the exact same place as the first.That's why I'm waiting for a price drop, because I just didn't like it at all, the single player I don't know, it feels weird compared to previous CoD games and if people had problems with the other CoDs and complained that enemies spawn too much and you can see them appear from nowhere, well in WaW this annoys even me, FFS sometimes they spawn as close as 2 meters in front of you and there are times when they are spawned just behind you >_> I had no problem before, but what Treyarch did is retarded.
The weapons, they might be old but as you said they just made the models and added some random settings for them, CoD 1 and 2 feel way better and some of the weapons are the same. The linearity, let's say that all the CoDs were linear, you had a straight path, but nope, WaW takes it to another level you don't have a straight path, now you have to go from left to right to advance, because every damned leaf/plant/flower will stop you and sometimes when you have a relatively huge area with pretty flat terrain you'll have to go around simple bumps just because Treyarch decided that a trained soldier can't possibly walk over a difference of 10 cm on the surface.
And the multiplayer is pretty bad too, I hate how exact the textures are, it's extremely confusing since many other elements don't look nearly as good, extremely sharp textures don't make a game look and feel better, it jist makes it awkward and I pretty much hate the new additions, vehicles.
