Well i'm looking into buying a hd tv because i'm tired of playing my 360 and seeing small text that can barely be read. i have some questions.

1. what is the measurment in heartz for the tv? its like framerate or something like that on refreshing?

2. do i have to have digital cable/direct tv for cable? i have regular cable on stard tv. (wire screw in)

3. what is the best way to get graphics on the 360? hdmi, colored things .

1. pretty sure its the refresh rate, the higher the better.

2. yes, all tvs have the standard cable connection, although i highly recommened getting a hd cable box or reciever.

3. hdmi is easy, and has audio/video one cord, but can be quite expensive.

component cables, (the red, green, blue) have no diff in picture quality, but is analog. not digital/.

1. Yes, its the refresh rate for the TV. 120 Hz has a smooth motion which is great for keeping up with games!

2. HD is the only way to go....... Not only will you get an HD picture, but you will also get best way to connect your TV with HDMI. With cable it is usually only a few dollars more a month and you don't have to purchase any box for it. With DirecTV you will need a HD antenna, HD box and get it all install!

3. HDMI is the only way to go. Really look into the prices for the cables. I have seen really great prices on-line to help you finish it off! If its a 120HZ TV, then look at the Monster 1000 cables, only one certified to carry the signal.... I have 46 Sam 120hz, bought a cheat cable, had to turn off the 120hz tech, ugly..... Bought the monster cable and WOW.... LOOKS GREAT.... MGS4 never looked so great!!

you're likely refering to the Hz measurement that LCD televisions advertise to better handle motion. I will say though, it doesnt help that much, and it makes anything aside from gaming look "weird" when enabled.

Otherwise, on Plasma televisions the hz mode often refers to how they are playing a Bluray in 24p mode, generally as a multiple of 24 (so Panasonics this year do 2:2 in 48hz, whereas Pioneers do 3:3 in 72hz).
