A lot of games these days keep me hooked for a couple of hours and then I'm like "meh" and they just stay on my HDD, halfway (or less) completed for months. I don't know what causes this but it gets really annoying. What would you recommend me to play? It can be however old, I just don't want too many dialogues in it. Something with really absorbing story, interesting main character, gameplay.. I honestly don't know what can keep me entertained for long enough -.-

Also, the games shouldn't be too long. The only games except MMOs where my play-time was more than ~10 hrs were The Elder Scrolls series.

Try Fallout 3 or New Vegas if you like the TES games. Also try Deus Ex: Human Revoultion.

In the past six months I've had Deux Ex:HR installed, I've played 3 hrs of it. I tried to like it but somehow it just isn't my thing -.-

If you only played 3 hours then you obviously didn't try to like it lol. Just give it another shot. It gets really good once you get into it.

Playing a game for a couple hours and saying "Meh I don't like it" is like watching a movie for 5 minutes and deciding it's not for you. Many games start out slow and need time to pick up. Give them some more time before dismissing them outright.

Something to hold your attention? Why not try Origami? I hear it can be quite fulfilling.

Or just plain.. getting old. xD I'm the same way.. not with Deus HR though because it's a fantastic game.. but I have a hard time holding my attention to a game. Explains why my backlog continues to grow. Often times, I find myself talking about video games and reading on it more than I do actually playing them. For instance, watching video gameplay by other users on youtube is another addiction that distracts me from ever committing to another backlog title.

I would recommend Fallout 3 (My favourite Fallout game) and Fallout New Vegas. Also if you havn't played Skyrim yet, than definetely give that a go. I have played 100+ hours of Skyrim and I'm still enjoying it!

Need people to play with, doesn't really matter the game. I'm similar, but for whatever reason if I'm playing with people I can play the same crap for hours straight.
