Ok im at my friend's house and im here for less than an hour more, and were trying to set up his new home enetrtainment system.

So our isue is that we dont know how to set up the speakers so that music (or any audio) plays through all 5 speakers. When it plays at the front, it dosent play at the back, when it plays the back, it dosent play the front!

Some one please help!!

If all 5 are connected? :? Number 1 rule always is RTFM or read the manual. Are you sure you're playing Dolby or DTS 5.1??

everythings connected, someone on xbox.com said that the songs have to be encoded in 5.1 or something for them to work.

IS that true?

no it isnt. most home theater systems will either have a play mode (church, hall, etc.... that plays out all speakers equally, or they have a surround button that will convert 2 channel audio to 5.1.

keep looking.
