How can you talk about how ME1 runs better then ME2 when you have only played the xbox version of ME2 as you said.

You havnt even tried the pc version of ME2 yet... I dont understand how you can talk about how well or bad a game is optimized having not played it?

:( I just explained you how i can know that. Its impossible that me2 will get more fps than the first in any way, unless you have some kinda weird issues with the first which all the people i know didn't!

Reviews? So reviews say that the first game was unoptimized or that it had problems? Also i played me2 on pc, actually no i did not play it, i have seen how it perfoms on 2.6ghz dual core and 9800GT, thats enough for me to judge, or do i have to play the entire game and try it on diffirent hardware to check perfomance?  You know that? I give up too, its like talking to a wall. I told you the same thing 3 times now, 3 times and you still say the same things all over!!

They won't listen to you because you are wrong. reading the recommended requirements mean nothing. play the games, compare them. End of story.

Also i cant believe people here saying "mass effect 2 is the superior rpg from all rpgs out there" dakan45

First off, great job ignoring all my future posts. You had a great run there.

Fallout 3 got tons more content than mass effect 2dakan45

I'm sure you will ignore this fact again, but you've only played a few minutes of the 360 version of the game. You have very little first hand experience. How can you possibly compare the amount of content? Maybe you could tell us how you know this for a fact. Perhaps it's just clairvoyance?

if any of those games is a joke that is mass effect 2, i honestly cannot bring myself to underatnd why such a simplistic product is considered such a masterpiece.dakan45

Level of complexity has nothing to do with whether or not something is a masterpiece.

 Its a dumbed down shooter with dialogues and 1% rpg elements in combat.dakan45

Your complete lack of experience makes your point invalid. RPGs are usually about growth over time. How can you claim that there is 1% RPG elements in a game when you haven't even played more than 1% of the game? There are, tons of RPG elements in this game, many of them outside of combat. Choices you make in the game, and the ones you have made in Mass Effect 1 have a profound impact on the overall story.

Sometimes i wonder have guys played kotor? Do you remember how superior the planets were in that game from mass effect? Honestly i cant believe people find those small maps good enough for a "masterpiece"dakan45

Again, size has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not a game is a masterpiece. Just because there are bigger paintings than the Mona Lisa, I shouldn't consider it a masterpiece? And I do remember Kotor, and it's planets. I remember a lot of walking and fighting endless random encounters.

How about you just buy the game, bud? Or borrow it from a friend? Until you play through it, your arguments just won't hold up.

The fact that you say there is no way ME2 can run smoother than ME1 makes it clear that you have played neither game. ME2 runs smoother than ME1, period (this coming from someone who played both games in the exact same system).

[QUOTE="Treflis"]Aslong as it doesn't ruin the gameplay and still allows you to move around the Galaxy Map, Scan planets and Land/Dock. Also Dakan, Maybe you should try a game for longer then " a couple of minutes" on a Xbox 360 no less before you start to point at the game as being a "cheap" PC Port. Cause even if the TC has those four buttons slightly visible, I don't nor have I heard anyone else claim they have besides The TC. If you're going to get into a debate then you really should bring along valid argumentations and not to mention keep it civil.

Its not stuck like that in game or anything =0 Was back tip top next time I loaded the game up, and it was frozen almost immediately after it displayed like that this one time =P

You know why I don't respond to posts in this thread? Because I have not played the game. Perhaps you should do the same. Play the game, come back and then give your opinion.

Seriously dude, I never saw someone who has so much to complain about, and I believe in complaining about things.

You have outdone yourself this time around by complaining about a game you have not even played. That's a new height (depth?) even for you.

Dakan, I think it's time you stopped assuming things, don't make things worse.

ME 2 is better optimized. I played ME 1 on the same PC, I didn't upgrade a single thing and ME 2 runs with 58 frames and it's far more detailed and complex than ME 1 (reason for higher requirements...ME 1 was a little empty, the levels except the CItadel where there were occasional slowdowns). At the same settings ME 1 ran at a constant 60 frames. What's even better about ME 2 is that it does not have anymore occasional slowdowns and texture pop ins, it's a far better port even tho ME 1 was a pretty great port.

What are you trying to prove? seriously, you took it way too far and it's a fact that you have no idea how it runs on PC, why the requirements are higher, etc. You're assuming things on requirements alone, what are you thinking? requirements aren't reliable most of the time :/.
