That's 101 sales (original pirated one plus 100 legal copies "inspired" from it) against 100 000 sales (the ones that bought the game and re-sell them)Gog

That has nothing at all to do with what I was saying

Who is being blind now?

The kind of logic people come up to justify pirating never ceases to amaze me.

Gog

Who's the blind one? You are, as it's obvious that you missed the point completely. I wasn't saying anything about that piracy was good, I was just saying that used sales was worse. If you had understand what I wrote, then you would see that you missed the point

I'll try one last time. If you still don't get it, then you'll never get it:

If one pirates a game, there's a small chance that he ends up buying the game. If he does buy the game, that means the game company got his money

If one buys a game used, there's ZERO, ZIP, NOTHING, NADA chance that what he paid for the game ends up at the game company.

Game company makes NOTHING of used sales (not now, not ever), while there's a small chance they end up making money on pirated copies

This post (as my previous posts in this thread) is not meant to justify piracy, it's just saying that buying used games is even worse than piracy
