What do you think Wil wrights new game Spore is going to change to in the long run? How will players play it and mix together in all aspects. Thoughts etc please :D

Ok, maybe I won't, but I think that game will be super rad. It has sandbox gameplay, but it seems to be more of a game overall then the sims which is what really draws me in. Plus controlling evolution is just freaking awesome so I can't see how the game can go wrong
Does anyone remember the old Super NES game E.V.O. , i played that game endlessly back in the day so when Spore finally does get released i think i will have to quite my job, dump my girlfriend and get an intervenus to quench my desire to play a more complete modern take on species evolution. Ohhhhh Fierce Jaws where have you been all these years.
im really interested but im so sad its been delayed. it was supposed to be on my top 3 games of 08 but they've all been delayed or not even announced yet for release :P

i think this game is gonna be critically acclaimed just cause its so different than many games coming out in the near future (assuming no more games like this are coming out in 2 years)

Some sites are actually planning ahead and making room for future spore mods! That's actually how I figured out about the game, because some website called "spore: source" was made ready to take in all the user created content when the time comes lol.

From what I've seen so far this will pretty much be the next Sim City. But instead, it is "Sim Universe." Probably going to be his best achievement of his career is he pulls of everything he wants to do.

I think people will be dissapointed and it wont be quite as open ended as we all expect it to be. People are hyping themselves up too much and turning into what they want it to be rather than what it will actually be.

Agreed, I think the concept is great but everything that I read regarding the gameplay makes me think this game is going to be poor, I particullary dislike the whole dancing/music concept where they turned what in many games is 'culture' into a mini-game.
