The team working on Star Wars 1313 was on LucasArts, which folded a while back. But the rights remained to Disney. So it wouldn't be a surprise to me that Disney would hire another team to finish the game.

EA currently has the rights to make Star Wars games, don't they? If the project is alive, it'd go to one of the devs under EA most likely.

That's on one of those websites... but not on a website like Steam, GamersGate, GMG, etc. They probably didn't bother to update their inventory. Most websites like Amazon have a placeholder on it with "be notified when the item becomes available." Same with Gamestop.com.

It's in limbo right now. That's all we could say about it. But yeah, I would like for development on it to continue.

MHO is right. EA currently has the rights to the Star Wars games. Disney shopped it out to your beloved EA.

Disney sold all rights for making "core" star wars games (anything but mobile/browser games) to EA. DICE is already making a SW Battlefront reboot. If 1313 is alive, one of their studios is making it.

Why are you guys going on about how it is still alive... It isn't... Just because some backwater online CD Key reseller is taking money for games that don't exist doesn't mean the game exists... Notice how you can't preorder it on literally any platform such as Amazon or even EA themselves..................

Also EA is NOT developing this game... When LucasArts was shut down... EA did NOT take this game, and Disney put the rights to it out there for anyone to pick up. NO ONE picked it up though.

I would like to see this game.

I love Star Wars games, and one of my favorites is kinda like the vibe I get from 1313.  And that was Shadows of the Empire on N64. 

Didn't have much at all to do with Jedi/Sith, and it didn't focus solely on space combat.

I bought Company of Heroes 2 on there for $20... It is pretty shady, they open up retail boxes and email you the key inside... But it still means nothing.
