Due to the recent gameplay footage from swbf3, it looks like it may come out soon. Im very excited about it since i love the battlefront series, but ive still been looking for an amazing swbf experience and this might deliver. Any comments or questions on the subject of star wars battlefront 3 are welcomed.
yes i agree in a way, but the idea and potential behind it could really push it forward. i like battlefield and cod series, so it would be cool if they were like that more, but star wars.
The original SWBF was pretty bad imo, the maps were way too small and the AI super dumb. However SWBF2 was a step in the right direction, the space battles with Rebel vs Empire were awesome, being able to actually fly into, land and enter the interior of a star destroyer to blow the whole thing up was really amazing and took me back to my starwars dreams as a kid haha.
If SWBF3 has more battles from the original trilogy, such as a large scale Deathstar battle run, or just a larger scale and more detailed raid on a star destroyer. Heck, just more detailed levels, then I think it may be well worth getting. Definately keeping an eye on it.
SWBF3 actually looks to be pretty much SWBF2 with improved graphics and more maps; not that that's a bad thing. In fact, it's a good thing. If they add more original trilogy maps and REALLY edit the newer trilogy maps (and WAY improve the AI) then I'll be very happy.
