Star Wars: Empire at War is good!

Just picked the gold edition up on Steam. This game is AWESOME! It's a little bit tough for me, especially the ground battles, but after playing it I'm wondering why I never see it mentioned here. Anybody else playing it?

it's been at least a year since I last played that game. Yeah it really was a great game, there were a number of star wars games that came out back then. Also does it have forces of corruption? You must have that expansion to the game as well, it adds a lot more.

it would probably be considered one of the greatest RTS game if it didn't have such crappy land battles.

lol, as the rebels I just went in with Hero Unit Raids. Did a lot of damage honestly.

Well I mean it was no Rome: Total war, but it was a nice adaption of the Star Wars RTS games that wasn't an Age of Empires copy, aka, Galactic Battlegrounds.

It's really fun but space battles are too easy.

Yeah land battles killed it and space battles were no homeworld 2

Get the Conflicts in Space mod, it makes the game a lot better.
