A scam how? he does things for cheap was supposed to be 100$ to fix mah pc but he reduced it to 50$ care to elaborate?Zoneage123
Wow, I suggest you talk to some gaming nerd you may know and treat him to mckiedees and let him fix it for you instead of paying $200 to that scam artist.
Learn a bit about power supply and your own hardware; I suggest you go over to the hardware forum if you haven't already. I suggest that you DONT just buy a power supply with a generally higher voltage without knowing what the rest of your system requires. I would ask for your specs and help you out accordingly, but you'll find more than just one user's help in the hardware forum. Good luck.

If he really wanted to upgrade your PC to a good gaming PC, it would require new RAM, a new video card and a good 600W+ Brand Power Supply...and trust, THAT upgrade would be much more than $100....
I have never heard of such a crazy explanation before lol. Get yourself to the hardware forums give your computer specs and then you will see the scam everyone else is getting at. Also even if your power supply is causing the trouble a new power supply wouldn't be more than $100 an antec 550W is in the $60 dollar range.
