sup guys another sc 2 post. yesterday i was playing sc2 and my comp suddenly crashed in the main menu. I took it to a comp specialist and he looked @ the requirements. He said my comp should have been able to play it just fine. He said the problem might be the power supply i have 350W the recommended is 450W for pc gamers. He himself is a PC gamer, he said that companies like blizzard need to let people know more about the high definition and graphics of the game so people know it may crash. I know the HD is pretty obvious but blizzard needs to let new PC gamers know that your comp may crash. So now i gotta spend 50$ to repair my crashed PC plus ~180$ to upgrade to a decent gaming PC. Just letting people know that if your game is crashing get your PC checked before it may be too late.

Wow, I suggest you talk to some gaming nerd you may know and treat him to mckiedees and let him fix it for you instead of paying $200 to that scam artist.

Learn a bit about power supply and your own hardware; I suggest you go over to the hardware forum if you haven't already. I suggest that you DONT just buy a power supply with a generally higher voltage without knowing what the rest of your system requires. I would ask for your specs and help you out accordingly, but you'll find more than just one user's help in the hardware forum. Good luck.

From a 350W to a 450W the change is not even noticeable...so he is trying to scam you. If he really wanted to upgrade your PC to a good gaming PC, it would require new RAM, a new video card and a good 600W+ Brand Power Supply...and trust, THAT upgrade would be much more than $100....

I have never heard of such a crazy explanation before lol. Get yourself to the hardware forums give your computer specs and then you will see the scam everyone else is getting at. Also even if your power supply is causing the trouble a new power supply wouldn't be more than $100 an antec 550W is in the $60 dollar range.

Might as well have gone here to PC Hardware forum and ask one of us to help you out. We would have suggested you take that $50 and buy a better Power Supply. ;)

This site should help you calculate the amount of Wattage needed by your computer.
