Starcraft 2 pre-order cancel

Can I still cancel my pre-order even though I have the beta code? I put $5 down a week before the free beta code program came out. I just went in there and said "I ordered starcraft 2 beta last week, can I have a beta code?" The store Clerk just gave me a receipt with code on it. Din't even ask for my name or phone number.(Gamestop FYI)

I heard once you pre-order and get a beta key you cannot cancel.

If I'm reading it correctly that you're saying you code a code without having it placed onto your preorder details, and by going by what it says online, you could argue that you never got it and cancel the order. However, if it says on your preorder that you received the beta code for some reason then you can't cancel it.
