I expected Bad Company 2 to be number 1.

I mean, it released in March and its always been on the top sellers list since then.

I don't believe Valve is a publically-traded company, so you probably wouldn't find it on the stock market. I checked as well :).

Valve don't give out sales numbers and a lot of these games are Steamworks titles, so I wonder if these estimates are even remotely accurate. I don't doubt that Vavle is making a fair bit of money, but...eh, I wouldn't trust these numbers.

I'm thinking the same thing. These estimates are as good as nothing.

These figures are pathetic (and sad) really, compared to retail console sales. Look at Black Ops is that even near 1% of total sales?

300 million on launch day. 1 billion in two months. http://news.cnet.com/8301-13506_3-20026321-17.html So steam made 10% of COD's money.and PC gaming, about 25, 30%.Dumbass.

30% ? go play your PS3 little boy.

I would take these numbers with a huge lorry load of salt. It seems the organisation behind these numbers (a company called FADE) are an off shoot of VGchartz and we all know how accurate VGchartz can be  . As far as I am aware Valve never gives out sales or revenue data and as a private company they are not obliged too. So you have to wonder where FADE are getting their numbers, if I was to speculate they are just guessing and using fancy maths to make it seem like they are in the "know",
