Steam down for anyone else?

Keep getting error "Failed to load platform modules"...

Steam connection error for me most of the day.

I haven't tried lately, I will try again later this evening.

I've been using it all day here in Canada just fine.

So it seems like the more people I talk to, some people are fine, some people can't connect.

Nope. I've been browsing the store for 30 minutes and played a few hours of Torchlight for Steam before that.

EDIT: Void that. I see at the bottom of the client it says No Connection and my SteamCard doesn't have anything on it.

Yup. Nothing on my Steam Card which means:

STEAM IS GOING TO DIE AS WE KNOW IT!

Well, I was online just an hopur ago or so in chat,but than it dc'd and I havent had connection since.. I wanna play my ****** games ;___________; says steam cloud cant sync up and if I play anything I could lose progress, i'm afraid that that means I would lose any stats or soemthing and I dont want that.

That's the thing. I just installed Chaos Rising and the Torchlight editor, yet I have no connection. I'm also on the East Coast.

Yeah, steam store is fine for me. The steam community is just down for me. I'm also on the east coast.

Steam friends and such is down for me too.

UK user here, I can browse the store but I also have the "No connection" message at the bottom of the UI. Didnt know when it went down as I've only just got back.

Ive never played any of my steam games on another computer, so would I lose anything from playing it from the same computer without steam cloud?

Yep. No connection on the bottom of Steam.

Community isnt up it seems, but I'm logged in now, and the No Connection thing is gone.

steam has been D/Ling lots of updates recently, and it's causing some problems with my games. but it isn't down for me.
