Steam games using windows XP mode in Windows 7?

I've been thinking of upgrading to Windows 7, but don't know if I'll be able to play my older games off of steam (e.g. the longest journey). Is it possible to run steam games in windows XP mode in windows 7? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im running windows 7 have diablo 2 installed runs great..Also titan quest runs good..Civ 4 is getting older now that runs great...Simcity 4 is on my pc runs well...Sid miers pirates..Have a few others an some dos games on there, seven cities of gold so on..Some of my old gold box games..

You can run Steam games in WinXP mode, not that you'll ever really need to though. But if you do, just right click the game, go to properties, set launch options and enter "-winxp" without quotation marks.fudgeblood

Okay, thanks. I'll probably upgrade sometime this winter. Civilization III, here I come!
