Could someone tell me what's wrong with my steam account. Every time I try to start it up, an error message appears saying "bad module 'Friends/ Friends' list could not load" or something like that. Thanks.

yeah that seems like the best fix, it worked for me when i had the same problem

here's a fix that has worked for many others. Locate your STEAM folder located by default at :

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam

and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file, than start steam again and it should work.
