Heya's
I pre-ordered L4D2 yesterday, and tried the demo, but because I live in Australia I got the censored version, which is probably only PG now. Anyway, I'm wondering how do you go about getting a refund for games on steam?

No refund? even for Pre-ordered games? According to steam you can do it, But they don't give any info on how to go about it.
[QUOTE="fudgeblood"]You don't. And don't worry, someone will mod the gore back in.mfp16actually you can for a pre-order. You need to submit a ticket with support requesting that you want to cancel a preorder.
How do I submit a ticket? im in the "ask a Question" page but not sure what category to put it under, would it be Billing?

This, I got a refund for my pre-order of borderlands.
Its got nothing to do with the gore, I assumed when the game was being censored it would just be cutting down on it. but in a game where your trying to survive zombies you would at least expect to see some blood, or even a dead body or 2, but there is nothing, Its like playing GTA, but without the city. Just walking around an empty desert. Theres no atmosphere in this game. I just want to get what the developers meant the game to be and not be restricted from what the feeling this game was supposed to give.
Why not just import a North American copy? You know one with the DVD and all that... LucifericusShipping costs and delivery time? It'd be better just to give a North American or Brit the money via paypal so they can buy it for you on Steam.
[QUOTE="mfp16"][QUOTE="fudgeblood"] Yeah but it's not that he dosn't like it, he simply wants blood and gore.fudgeblood...what? yes, he doesn't like it... why are you pushing so hard on this, yes he can get a refund. I know you can get refunds, but I just doubt that he'll get a refund just because he wants gore.
He doesn't have to give a essay on why he wants a refund, all he has to do is ask for one. I got a refund because the game was delayed 3 days.
