I find it odd that it's pulling a 75% discount a measly two months after release. I would wait though. The forums are loaded with people describing shoddy port issues and framerate problems similar to GTA IV. Check the game's Steam forums for solutions though.

Ehh Noire is a strange game. Its pretty much a detective sim. The game is pretty much driving, find clues at a crime scenes, and interview/interrogating people. I enjoyed it in the begining but then it turned into the same stuff 5 times over.

Uhh gta IV issues? NO THANKS. I thought the only problem was with ppl playing in laptops, with some conflict between integrated gpu and dedicated.. also have a mate who couldn't activate it after like 4 days after release. Still to this day i can't enjoy gta IV and didn't complete or started ep from liberty city. The thing that attracted me from la noire is the 50s recreation, but driving looks terrible, and AI is up to par.. Thanks for the advice, won't pay for a gta IV like portit was funny, for the first few days, I was like "Meh, I own all the games that look interesting to me".
Then Batman: AC was on sale for 50% off and I bought it.
Then LA Noire
Then:
Tropico 4
RAGE
Saints Row 3
Quake 4
Dungeon Siege 3 (a good little dungeon crawler, if you can get over the consolification)
Frozen Synapse
I really don't know why I bought those games, and others, as I have The Old Republic, Battlefield 3, and Skyrim to keep me busy.
I guess I am just a collector :P
any opinions on the deus ex DLC? I'm thinking about getting it. I haven't played much of the main game yet (got it for 10 bucks on amazon earlier) and I heard to wait until the end to play it. Is it worth it at this price? I'm normally pretty wary about dlc.
- Tropico4 and DLC
- Hard Reset
- Batman:AC (Got it for 25$ on origin 5 days after release lol)
- Might and Magic Heroes VI
- Dungeons Of Dredmor DLC
- Two Worlds 2 and Pirates Of The Flying Fortress Expansion
- Bought a friend a copy of Dead Space2 for 5$
- Rainbows Six Vegas2 for 2-3$ cant remember
- SR3 from amazon coming in the mail next week
I really wanted M+M:H VI, SR3 and Hard Reset to be on sale, glad they were ;)
I picked up orcs must die and magicka so far both seem like they will be a lot of fun.
These Indie games seem to be more fun nowadways than the big budget games coming from the big studios
So is it safe to craft what remaining coal i have or do i still need it for the prize draw?
lambalot
With coal you either craft it or use it to enter the prize draw. Can't be both.

Ok so it will vanish whenever they decide to do the draw?

Shouldn't it be good night sweet PRINCESS? :P Anyways, I purchased zero games. So many great deals throughout the year on other DD sites as well. Honestly, I buy less games from these winter and summer sales now. :PElann2008It's from Shakespeare's Hamlet :D. Also, kudos to the self-restraint! I buy less each sale as well, but I still managed to get quite a few games :?.

Exactly how I felt about the experience. I'm only a few missions into the game, but it's starting to wear me down. It's almost too cinematic, without enough real action or gameplay for my liking. Please Log In to post.
