Hey if anyone has any interesting stories of how they messed up your first build post it here..or if it went fine thats cool to.

I actually just started on my first build and had my first problem...20 minutes into it, I attempted to attach the cpu to the motherboard and found out a few of the pins where bent on the cpu socket and the latch wouldnt close all the way. So I had to send it back and asked for a refund so I can buy a new motherboard..they are about to get the mobo i sent back yesterday and im hoping they accept the refund.

Well, a long time ago I got a new cpu and motherboard with a new case. As I was installing the cd drive, it ripped a capacitor right off the the motherboard. I was so worked up over that,my dad which is an electrician was able to repair it within 15 minutes and I was so happy that I didnt have to scrap my new pc.
