Sub 1000 pounds (money not weight) gaming laptop

Yes yes I know, oh god a laptop, but I just prefer the portability of one. So any recommendations?

Edit - 1000 pounds = 1574.6 dollars (near enough 1600, so that is accaptable too)

Your not going to get a decent gaming laptop for under $1000 (or pounds). Even at $1000 (or pounds) the gaming potential isn't great. It would be better to buy a cheap laptop and build a gaming desktop.

1000 pounds (english sterling) is about 1600 dollars, not 1000 dollars.

EDIT: a Nvidia 525M through 550M will play games on mostly medium settings at around 1366x768 Anything over that will start to get into medium/high settings

I play on a GT335M and i can play games like GTA IV and BFBC2 with a mix of medium/low settings at 1280x760 at or more than 30FPS so the 525-550M wich are all pretty much the same video card will play games with medium settings (at again) 1366x768 with atleast 30 FPS or more
