Well in general laptops aren't that great for gaming. I am not sure if this is the best but its a pretty good one. Hope you brought your check book.

http://laptoplogic.com/best-gaming-laptops/- One place to check, I just did a google search.

Although I used to own a DELL XPS laptop that was pretty solid, and you could actually upgrade the video in it. But honestly best bang for the buck is a desktop. Oh and it seems this should really be in the hardware forum.

Do you plan on gaming all over or at home? Destops outperform laptops by a pretty huge margin.

Get a giant "S" sticker and slap it ion your screen, screw in 2 rockets on the side of your laptop, then add a red cape around the hinge. It's a bird, no its a plane no its SUPER LAPTOP.

Personally, I think getting a gaming laptop is a bad idea. Desktops are not only much more powerful, they are also more affordable and can be easily upgraded, reducing long-term costs. Also, would you rather play on a 15-inch screen or a nice 22 or 24-inch monitor?

You can get laptops with screens all the way up to 17" or 19".. If money is not somethign yoru worried about you can get some pretty kick ass ones out there.. Just make sure you pay attention to reviews on heat.. Some laptops get extremely hot to where it gets uncomfortable to touching certain areas of the laptop.

I've never understood the point of laptops larger than 15-inches. If you have to lug aroud an 8-pound monstrosity, why even bother with portable computing?

After having purchased over 5 laptops...two of them supposed "gaming laptops"...one of them costing around $3,000...

DO NOT BUY A LAPTOP FOR GAMING.

do not buy a laptop for gaming.

do not buy a laptop for gaming.

Ok, 3 times ought to be enough.

I used to hate notebooks that they costed too much and gave nothing but integrated graphics. Last year I sold my desktop with radeon 9600 athlon xp etc. and bought a notebook that didn't cost ridiculously high. Now I've been playing without any cable anywhere, when I leave the town I carry it with me so the gaming goes on. I put my sennheiser headphone in and enjoy(!) dead space. Do I get the perfect graphics for the game? No, but that's the PC gaming I like :) Don't you hate quadro sli gtx295 guys who consume 1000 watt while most notebooks only takes 90? The best gaming notebook is 2500$ by asus W90Vp-X1.
