1. Can you play team matches in Supreme Commander and Command and Conquer 3 online (2vs2,4vs4, etc.)?

2. Does Supreme Commander and Command and Conquer 3  have online rankings?

3. What is less repetitive online?

4. What is your opinion of which one I should get for online gameplay?

I have the Supreme Commander demo and I love it, I can run it on medium and large battles aren't a problem. Haven't DLed Command and Conquer 3's demo yet.

Get C&C3

Yes, there's 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 player maps.

Yes there's ranks.

No, its not repetitive.

Yes, it definatly has way better gameplay.

I downloaded the Supreme Commander Demo a while ago. The Gameplay made no sence to me whatsoever. Plus gamespot liked C&C better. C&C3 is a way better game.

Gamespot always rates EA games high.

I can answer the Supreme Commander part. Not that I go online, mind you, I just know my way around this game better than C&C3. [QUOTE="DarkRecruit"] 1. Can you play team matches in Supreme Commander online (2vs2,4vs4, etc.)?

Yup. [QUOTE="DarkRecruit"] 2. Does Supreme Commander have online rankings?

Yes for ranked games. [QUOTE="DarkRecruit"] 3. What is less repetitive online?

Can't say. [QUOTE="DarkRecruit"] 4. What is your opinion of which one I should get for online gameplay?

Both seem to have pretty scratchy online record so far, to be honest. SupCom seems to get lots of client trouble, desyncs and crashes, while C&C3 uses Gamespy, which is teh eww.

I play C&C online and it's awsome really fast paces, easy to learn, anyone can enjoy it. SC I havn't played online but I did play on LAN. Basically SC  can be a really really long game which isn't that good for online unless everyone stays till the end.

My pick, both games are good, but C&C is better IMO.

I think it only comes down to how much time you like to spend on one game, as a Supreme Commander match between good players can last hours and a C&C3 game might be over in 10 mins.

Well, not really. I watch quite a few replays and most ranked games are over very quickly, like around 20 minutes. Ranked players tend to like to finish games quickly so they can move on and play the next match. FFA games can last longer as there isn't as much pressure to finish matches quickly, and people say FFAs tend to be more fun because people get to experiment. It all depends on map size, number of players, type of map (land or water or mixed) and type of game (ranked or FFA).

I enjoy SC much more... the CC3 demo dissapointed me soooo damn bad... and before you try to flame me and say ooh ooh the demo doesent do the game justice.... yeah ok so they release a demo that makes me not buy it... great.
