still wont pick it up. i'll wait for the march release, and hopefully they will have the real local servers up and running by then.

I imported my copy from Amazon. Playing on West Coast Server, get around 150-280 ping. (totally playable unless it gets really crowded). But like Kamuikankatsu said, I can't wait until they put up the local servers.

Hahahahaha, that really IS a WEIRD reaction. I guess look at it this way: ur are enjoying the game, and therefore it reminds you of the good old days when you enjoyed WoW, and therefore you feel like returning to it???

BioWare stated (before release date) that they would NOT block off any specific IP Address Range (as in addresses from outside US and Europe). I made sure I could play it before ordering. I was just worried about the lag, but it was fine.

Same. I went from not liking it much to liking it a lot. I'll at least stick around until Guild Wars 2. Even until then, I'll keep my account in case I want to change it up.

So u finally got it :) I'm glad. Don't know how long SWTOR can keep me interested, or how long the population will stay alive, but after 60 hours of playing I am still enjoying myself. It's the FIRST MMO where I don't care about leveling...I just want to do the quests and experience the stories...

I doubt full F2P, but later down the track it will probably incorporate something like WoW, limited free till a certain level.
