I loved the online race mode of Hot Pursuit in 2010, it was so fun doing the really long tracks racing against a friend. You could barge into each other and play rough and it was so much fun just racing side by side. However in Most Wanted 2012 the slightest tap and it sends you into this canned animation where you go into a wall and says you crashed. It is such bollox, you cannot race each other any more without always doing the takedowns. Just removes the fun...
In Most Wanted it doesn't all start your fairly each race, no you start the race even before the count down has stopped. It's very annoying if you're waiting in the area and someone crashes into you every 2 seconds, it becomes so draining. Hot Pursuit did it the best, you could cause each other to crash but this canned animation didn't take over to steer you into a wall from the slightest tap. It's online racing's equivalent of quick knives :\

The crashes/crash cam/take downs ruin the multiplayer in public games. Its still fun with friends but yea gently side-swiping another car will lead to ridiculous crashes half the time while the other half of the time nothing happens.Â
