Some hats, I repeat, freaking HATS IN A GAME, goes for 17.49 euros. That's 23.92 dollars. What.. the.. ****. The game itself costs 10 euros right now. They also sell a bundle with a few weapons for 50 euros. Couldn't believe it when I saw this. You suck, Valve.

Hey, guess what.. YOUD D'ONT HAVE TO BUY EM!
I dont see what the big outrage is?
Stay away from em and CRAFT EM or GET EM RANDOMLY.. its not hard.

Valve is not forcing anyone to buy em, I wont be buying any of em, but its cool taht those who want to HAVE THE OPTION now to buy hats and what not.

That really is hilarious. It's like saying; "Want to play TF2 but can't be bothered to play TF2? Purchase these items today!"

It's exactly the same principle as someone buying a high-level WoW character.

It kind of takes a ridiculous amount of gametime to get even one hat, something your average TF2 player may never even reach. But then again I've never cared for the purely cosmetic aspects of the game.

It doesnt take long to get hats at all, I have 12 hats or something, all from random drops except one.

Doesnt take long to craft a hat and alsoyou have a chance of getting a random one.

I dunno I played around 80 something hours (I guess maybe like 50 after the update) and I haven't gotten one yet. I thought the chance you'd get one was less than one every 200 hours, or something ridiculous like that. Also it takes soooo many items to make enough metal to get a hat. But none of this bothers me because I don't really think twice about owning hats.

Ive got 1600 hrs of TF2 and had 3 random hat drops. 80 hours is peanuts.

1600 hrs/16 hrs = 100 full days spent playing a video game. Congratz, bro. You deserve a pat on the back for all that hard work. For me, 80 hours is a fair amount of time to be spent on a FPS..

I absolutely loathe that giant store icon on the menu. Reminds me of the Xbox Live dashboard ads. Ugh.
