pretty basic topic what is your kdr in team fortress 2 (kdr= kill to death ratio)

Yeah that's not saying much really. Trying being a lone Heavy jumping on the kart to defend it against several blue enemies ALL aiming for you at once, not to mention the fact that you're an easy target for Snipers and Spies, and god forbid there's an enemy Heavy with a Medic. Or try being a soldier and having to hurt yourself just to move around quickly.pretty basic topic what is your kdr in team fortress 2 (kdr= kill to death ratio)

With the Heavy... It varies. I'd say 4:1, with a good Medic that can easily be 10:1.
As Soldier: I tend to do slightly better, but I can't give numbers. Maybe 7:1, with or without a Medic.
sniper is easy to get a good kdr, in one game i had sniped 17 without dying, other classes are harder to maintain a good kdr.ferret-gamer
yea I am betting scouts generally have the worst, with medics and spies after that
All i said was im probably one of the best sniper sout there i play all classes though.
mainly i play
1. spy ( dead ringer rather excellent as long as its not arena always unfair teams)
2. demoman
3. scout
4.sniper ( i use huntsman normally unless there are alot of snipers aiming for me ill switch to rifle... im a huntsman headshotter i'm pretty rare but very very deadly).

an it tells you are kdr on steam so you dont ahve to make it up lol
Tokeism
Where exacly?
I think if you go into the stats page in-game and fiddle with the tabs you can find it...but I'm nowhere near my gaming PC so I can't be bothered.
In any case, the K/D ratio is sort of pointless in a team-based objective-focused game. There have been plenty of times where a scout would have to spawn, run in, grab the intel (or push the cart) and then die in order to help his team win...so staying alive the longest and getting high scores isnt always beneficial to the team.
kdr is different. on my clan server its 1.5
on pubs it ranges from 1 to 10
1 if i play say...medic
10 if i play spy
10 also if i play sniper
sniper and spy get high kdr, others don't
also matters who you play against
getting a high kdr against noobs means nothing
your skill is far more important
for instance one time i got 39 points as pyro playing against some noobs which means very little
another time i got 38 points in a life as soldier playing against a good team which means a lot
KDR doesn't really matter in comp games, as its about the team playing as one unit. In PUG or PUB games, its class based really.
Scout: 2 sometimes higher, sometimes lower, depends on what your doing.
Soldier : always get about 8
Pyro : Could be anything, everyone hates.loves the pyro!
Demo : Often high as I play him rather defensive
Heavy : About 5, but I dont play for long, just to get an objective done (take out horde, kill sentry so on)
Engineer : Well, on one server, I have a KDR of 78. Really annoys there clan members, but its not much fun turtling really.
Medic : Often low as your assiting more than anything
Sniper : With the gunm easy 20, huntsman, in the minus range :P
Spy : Always VERY high, I love to play spy, my 2nd fav class
You shouldn't worry if your KDR is not much higher than 1, its all about how you helped. Like a pyro may die without getting on kill in a life, but if you held up the other team for a 10 or seconds, it can be a game breaker in your favour, but the KDR doesnt reflect the awesome tactic.
idk exactly but i know its pretty high with most classes i play except medic and spy because i play medic the correct way healing people and i'm not very good with spy :P.
Overall: 1.16

Why does KDR mean so much to you guys? Just freakin' play... for fun, not for competition....my KDR is 2.2 and hell, i'm not bragging..
If you were wondering...I use the spy and i've memorized all Valve-created maps.

Click it, its a HL2 mod called Neo Tokyo.
Probably around 2.1 (I suck)
Man, i just don't understand how people are so addicted to hunting spies in TF2! They see a cloaked spy then suddenly they switch to melee and for 3 minutes of the match they try to hit everything on the map to find you

That's why I play pyro. Easy spychecks ftw. It's also fun jumping in the middle of the mayhem and just blazing away instead of **** out and sniping because you know you would die if you got involved. Snipers are for cowards, except on 2fort, where they're for idiots.
I don't pay attention to my k/d ration in TF2 like I do in other games because it really doesn't matter or mean anything. (Not hating on the thread-starter, just saying how I feel about it.) To me, the amount of points I've earned with each class is more important than how many kills and deaths I have.
