They are both good. I use Ventrilo though since most of my friends use it. I like it just a bit more.
This! My friends and I have also been experimenting with Mumble, which is pretty good. It's supposed to have very little lag.. but test it with Skype and you'll see how good Skype is, as they're pretty comparable. Vent has a really big delay by comparison. I could understand if you had a really large guild or clan or something, Teamspeak would be beneficial.. but for a handful of friends. Skype is perfect.Skype >>> both of those

I'd only be chatting it up with no more than about 7 people at a time, max. Maybe 8 if everyone gets online, for some random reason. :DSkype >>> both of those

He said it sounded like a hundred dollar mic lol :P
[QUOTE="kozzy1234"]Agreed, Skype audio quality is amazing and it's really simple to set up. Might not be too great for more than a handful of people to use simultaneously though.Skype >>> both of those

Ya I have never tried skype with more then 4 people. I didnt belive Skype would be better then teamspeak, steam or xfire for chatting, but boy was a wrong, it blows the other programs I use to use to chat while gaming to shame.
Ventrilo. I believe it uses less resources than something like Skype. You also don't have to sign up for anything. It doesn't try to run in the background all the time like Skype does.KHAndAnimeI like Vent's easy push-to-talk setup, but run Skype and Vent at the same time and you'll be able to hear the lag difference. The sooner I can say BEHIND YOU to my friend, the better chance he has :D

And I assume it uses less bandwidth so I'm good with it.
