I never understood why people lack common sense, sniper is not the next assault, that's quite an idiotic reason to whine about. They have these uses, to protect and/or assault objectives with the air strike and C4 (when they defend), with the weapon they just cover or fend off. They aren't supposed to sprint in the middle of the field, towards a control point

I wish I could choose servers by their gametype and rules, but I unfortunately am confined to the one with the lowest ping.

There are a lot of instances where the 12x zoom can be put away and use the motion mines they are given. I know I would be a lot more thankful to snipers who throw their motion mines instead of dropping the occasional mortal strike that might get one person. I should clarify that I don't want a sniper staying back by your spawn point two valleys away from the CP camping with a 12x scope, and instead I want him a lot closer. He doesnt have to be capturing the point, but at least within range to give motion mine support (the guy can throw farther than an olympic discuss champion). Also being closer mean you dont have to judge the bullet drop and adjust for movement as much ensuring you'd get a lot more kills. Also I can spawn on the sniper if hes a lot closer so I can get back to getting the CP/ arming bomb quicker so our team wins.

Mad wookies ITT. How about you do something useful like blow up the enemy tank or attack the enemy position? Oh wait.

Personally, I hate snipers that sit in the back. Not only because (in objective games) they don't help their team but also because snipers are cowards.

Let me use the most accurate gun, with the best range, with the best headshot multiplier, and the highest damage per bullet, and sit so far back in a bush to where the people I'm shooting have no chance to respond. Esspecially in HC where they're almost always a 1-hit kill and there is no post-kill cam. What pu$$ies.

The snipe ris overpowered in bc2 making it a crucial class. I agree that the medics dont heal since they have the overpowered m60.Nick3306

M60 and LMGs in general are pretty weak in BC2. Even when the game was release and the dps of the M60 was at his prime the kill numbers from Medic sodiers were far less than from assault, and the medics has the worse overall k/d ratio. I don't understand the surprise and awe that medics had on some people as "overpowered"; since I did unlock all the items and awards from medics I totally stop to play this ones.

Maybe the m60 was op at a time but that was fixed a long time ago, now days the medic class guns are the weakest.

You need to rush and to be on the move if you want to win.

Some people abuse sniping though and stay back at the base when the team's losing. I started out a n00b when I first played it and now I'm average and more. I don't do many kills but help the team as much as I can and rush toward the M-Coms or Flags. If you're a sniper don't camp and play, get the SVU or the VSS and the 4x scope, it makes that much more of a difference.

Move over to Project Reality! a very similar shooter to bad company 2 but just with more realism,variety of weapons and vehiclesand a much much more mature community. Yes it is the same old battlefield 2 but still very well modified to play with the appeal of todays FPS standards.

I think the Bad Company 2 community is allright, but on the other hand I always play with 1 or 2 RL friends (having a squad with my own friends on teamspeak kicks major ass)

Well I do recall the late night bs conversations (f*****g Noob campers, you filthy hacker, omfg you are such a...) but I enjoy them aswell.
I love getting home from a social event, fire up the old bad company at 5 a.m. and play it completly wasted, and then I laugh alot with people who rage when they are getting killed n' stuff :P

I don't get it why people rage for getting themselves killed, you get alot more pissed off when you start to complain and some dudes from the enemy team start to make fun out of it.

If I'm in a team that gets raped, I'll try to defend myself as good as possible and try to take some far off controle points to turn the tide of battle.
If I'm on a server with a suspected hacker (any player with a k/d: 125/5 and inhuman accuracy) I'll just leave the server.
