The Biggest PC Multiplayer games are..

:question:

I play Mount and Blade, BFBC, TF2, CODMW and MW2, L4D and L4D2, Killing Floor and also GTA4 multiplayer. Are there any other big Multiplayer communities that are based around First or Third Person perspective games out there? Seems to me that anything slightly different doesn't last for long in popularity i.e shattered horizon

Hmm BF2, Quake Live and GTA:SA are a bit dated graphically.. no that I am a graphics whore but is there nothing more recent or modern that stiull holds the same level of popularity? Maybe the games I mentioned are the only modern ones that have the 'big' communities? pity

I just stated that I wasnt a graphics whore didn't you read? As for anything in the last 10 years should be considered modern, it really depends on your perspective - a lot can happen within even shorter timeframes and ten years in gaming is a hell of a long time.

Tier 1:

WoW, SC2

Tier 2:

SC, WC3, CS, CS:S, TF2, MW2, FIFA10

Tier 3:

Diablo2, LFD, LFD2, BC2, BF2, GW, FM10

Tier 4:

The rest (COD4, Borderlands, GTA:SA, etc.)

what why all i said mount and blade was poo, at least for me, i didnt really like it that much. Game is just pretty meh.

I like medieval games i just didn't like the clunkyness of the controls and what not, the overall scale wasnt that big either, which is why i play total war games.

BF2,definetely BF2.
