What in the world? I hope the demo is far from what the full game will be for the people that buy this piece of garbage. No proper menu mouse controls or in game as far as I can tell and why in the world does it start windowed? Is this the stone age? *knocks over magazine racks*EndersAresI just plugged in my 360 controller and it was great. It was nice to crank up all the graphics, but it still kind of looked like junk. lol
The controls are beyond frustrating. No custimization at all, no mouse support, the game doesn't even tell you the control scheme and which functions are mapped to which keys. Infact it's basically a straight port from the 360 because it'll tell you to press x or press y (which does nothing if you press the x key or y key on the keyboard) or press RB...seriously? That being said, the combat system was interesting, and the graphics while not groundbreaking were solid as was performance. I think the demo is a poor representation of the game itself, unless you have a 360 controller and don't have to worry about the ridiculous controls. I was looking forward to this game, but after playing the demo i'll probably wait for some PC version reviews.PTMagsi'll wait till they stop doing stupid things like this i like the game i just hate this version
e got the demo and ive played it and it confuses me on what i do lol but other then that it runs really really smooth
My specs
Q6600 @ 3.3
2 gig of OCZ ram over clocked
2 8800GTX's
There are black boarders with none 16:9 resolutions, poor mouse and keyboard support, texture popping when loading new environments on my PC, I swear there is background audio static but that may just be my graphics card.
Those are my negatives.
Performance seems way better than what I saw in 360 videos but does still dip at times, apparently fights are allot faster on PC, graphics are not modern but are clean looking, controls well with a 360 pad.
Overall it could have been allot better but it is sufficient if you want to play on PC, Like DMC4 I'd recommend anyone getting it get a Windows 360 pad.
sooo dowloaded the demo, got ingame got to some cave thingy where some other flying thingy tried to kill me, I pressed atack nothing happened, I was confused like never before, exit and delete
well atleast I got my first expiriance with a jrpg, I honestly don't understand how stuff like this can be popular in japan :D, but hey, if they like it who am I to question it

For game controls... you DO know that you can change them in the "Settings" section on the Title Screen, right? There are five or six tabs there, just choose "controls", and you can customise them as you see fit.
Don't start whining if you haven't even given the game a chance... sure, there's no tutorial, the controls are awkward at first, but anyone who's got a bit of interest in the game could find those control settings out. Give it more than 10 minutes before you say that it's crap!
i agree i may get it for pc or 360 not sure yet as i had no problems with either it just that they should have started it sooner that's the only problem i haveFor game controls... you DO know that you can change them in the "Settings" section on the Title Screen, right? SE claims this game incorporates western RPG design elements. Have they ever played a real RPG before?

Wow. I dont know what to say to this. I mean, I remapped the keys to a PS1 dual shock controller and I even tried using the mouse and keyboard to play. I was able to find out what button does what since I went into the "settings" screen and took the time to look and read stuff.
My only gripe is that there is no tutorial w/c is standard fare for JRPGs. I'm sure the retail version will have the standard lenghty tutorial at the beginning w/c I hope can be skipped if the player chooses to.
I like it quite a bit. Works great with an Xbox 360 controller. My computer is not the best, but I was getting great performance with everything maxed (except for shadows in battle, I'm one noch away from high :P ). I'll be picking this up, glad I waited too. Otherwsie I would be plagued with slowdowns on the 360. :)ssvegeta555what slowdown i didn't have any

The PC demo is way way better than the 360
-improved framerate
-improved graphics
-improved animation (his standard run alone is worth picking up the PC version for)
-choice of Japanese voice over w/ english subtitles
This demo as said previously is just packed with things to do, for people that just ran around and fought one battle, you didn't really give it a fair chance, give it another shot, I did.
This is coming from someone who bought and returned the 360 version.
It actually reminded me a bit of crisis core where you don't always get to choose your exact reaction, but rather they pop when you need them. Its pretty smart.

Yea it looks to be a very nice improvement over the 360s version (which had some technical issues). I think the combat and story are underrated in this game.
Count me in when it comes out for pc, the demo was cool (and the only problem the 360 version had was the technical problems). The PC version looks to fix those problems, just like the PC version of MASS EFFECT did.

I still enjoyed the game alot on 360.
Also my comp should be able to give me much better visuals and sound then the 360 version (especially sound with my sound card). Also who knows, maybe some mods later on for it?
