I think re-playability is an optional quality a game can have. It's not necessary but it makes the game last longer and gives it a high bonus from my pov.I think the most re-playable games are the RPG games.Personally i'll go with KOTOR 2 which i've finished like 5-6 times to find out more about Revan even tough i finished the first KOTOR 4 times.THNX UR OPINIONS MATTER TO ME!

THE GAMING WORLD IS A GATEWAY TO ESCAPE...,Jade

Mods are another thing that makes a game very replayable. So ill go for unreal 2004. the crapload of new mods that come out for this game makes this a game that always stays installed.

Also max payne 2, ive beaten this game as a rule every year since it first came out, always trying out some total conversion mods and the like.

Thats my two cents.

Morrowind and Oblivion, thanks to all their amazing mods. Even without mods, its near impossible to do everything on the first run, thanks to all the godam hidden quest dudes and stuff.

I'm gonna have to vote for Rome Total War. I've been playing it since release. However I've also finished both kotor games quite a few times too ;)

Hell yes! Have you gotten 'The Underground' mod? Possibly my favorite of all time. It is the biggest one that exists so far, in my knowledge, and provides an entire vampiric society underneath Balmora. It is amazing :D

Counter Strike Source definately. Although I know you don't ever complete it, you are still doing the same things over and over again, so I think it counts as replayability.

Torment - so many different things to discover and multiple endings. It's impossible to find absolutely everything on your first way through. (I still find new things each time I play it). UT2004 has been rather overplayed as well as the original NWN (I must have finished that about 12 times with different characters - before I started on the addons) NWN2 is getting there but it's still sorta new for me! Dark Crusade has been suprisingly replayable, much more than the original Dawn of War.

Old skool replayables have been such classics as Wasteland and Ultima IV!

well first you don't knowhat a replayeble game is , a replayeble game is a game that if you play it again you can play it different i mean look at diablo 2 you lpay barbarian you play druid the experience is different you want toplay all of them just to see how they are, personally i finnished jedi outcast 10 times but for another person this game might suck and for him is not replayable because he doesn t play and like it, but this doesn't mean it's replayable this means that i liked that game very much , if i play and like a game and finnish it many times doesn' make it replayable , a replayable game is a game that when you play it a second time it is diffenrt it offers you another experience and so on ... you get the point also the most replayable games are the rpgs in general because it differs every time you play it , the most replayeble game is Diablo 2 exp no doubt

i find the gta games to be very replayable, since i spend so much time just messing around even when i intend to get somewhere. Especially San Andreas, it takes just messing around to the next level... morrowind and oblivion are similar but i dont find them as immediately fun.

Also ive played halo over and over and over again, i just love the game, not sure why it gets played over all the others i have, but meh, its fun :P

Replayability to me is just will i play the game at least one more time after i beat it? Most of my games i've run backthrough multiple times (2nd time through Bioshock is what i'm currently working on) i played through FEAR around 5 times, it's expansion didn't replay at all. Prey, that game sucked, it just wasn't worth the $50 i spent on it. I'd have to say the most replayable game to do, or at least the one i have played the most is Guild Wars and Half-Life 2. Half-Life 2 thanks to mods and GW thanks to the many expansions and just plain fun i have all the time with it.

Probably Morrowind for the sheer size as well as the amount of mods available for it.

Half-Life 2 - again because of the enourmous modding community

Fallout 1 & 2 - I just love playing these games.

i wouldn't like to choose a single game, but there arefour categories of games i'd say are most replayable:

1. sandbox games - games like civilisation and sim city- i'm sure many people have been playing civ for over a decade

2. competetive online games - mainly fps and rts... there are people who play starcraft daily and have been every day since 1998, and similarly there are people i know who've been playing counterstrike since beta 6.6, which was around 2000

3. mmorpgs - i spent over six thousand hours playing everquest over the space of two and a half years, that was damn near 8 hours per day

4. rpgs - while they pale in comparison to mmorpgs for potential playtime (unless you're a pretty die hard fan), most rpgs will still last 2-5 times longer than a typical game, just on one play through - and the better ones out there invite multiple plays

really, i think if it has more than100 hours of gameplay, it falls into one of the above categories - and many games that do fall into the above categories can easily support many hundreds, and certainly thousands of hours of gameplay

Galactic Civ II Dread Lords is great for replayability,as well as Civ.4.An older game that I still pull out regularly is Age of Mythology-tons of maps available.

GTA its the game that i spent most time on (about 250 hours + the 2 players...) but i dont say it has too much replaiability since you (with you i mean me) aint gonna want to redo the missions again, like the paramedics and the firefighter among others that are a total pain in the ass... but my vote goes to 3 games...

Oblivion (didnt played morrowind but sure have the same replayability)
Civilization 2,3 and 4 (didnt played the first)
Diablo 2 (i spent around 130 hours in this game even though i got only with 2 chars on the 2 act, and never reached the 3rd)

all i took from that was that you like jedi outcast, which makes you awesome. seriously though, i like jedi outcasts multiplayer so much better than supposed awesome multiplayer fps games.

MMO's i find replayable, but i really hate WoW.. its just so repetitive.

GW is good, new content quite regularly released. Gonna get called for this but even RS was replayable.

Didn't anyone play Red Alert 2 a few times? Or a few hundred times online or LAN? What a game!

Also CS & CS:S I've played since 1.3. That's a lot of years gaming for $40 or so each (plus Dod/Dod:s HL1 & HL2 in the same packages. Talk about value for $$$).

I agree, but also RPGs.

However, the most replayable IMO is Everquest 2...not repetitive like other MMOs (WoW) and has a huge amount of content, with it's 4th expansion due out in Nov :)

I've finished Metal Gear Solid more than 25 times because the story is the best ever made and I never got tired of it. Oblivion is very long, but after you finish it 100% once, you get tired of it. KOTOR is great and is very re-playable. There's also Civilization 4, Galactic Civilizations 2, GTA series and The Sims 2

You know what, I've never played Morrowind with mods. I haven't played it since 2003, but I think I should revisit it and try it with mods.

I would have to vote for the KOTOR games. Good storylines. I'd like to play HL2 and Jade Empire again too. And Ms. Pacman.
