Battlefield: Shogun (japanese family states at war, samurai, archers, achigaru). Battlefield: Crusades (fight for jerusalem, basically like the Kingdom of Hearts movie). Battlefield: The Caribbean wars (pirates, english, french, spanish, danish fleets..with island bases and ports, taverns to recruit NPC shipdudes). Battlefield: The Jurassic ( alternate history/fiction where two human tribal factions that control the the supercontinent Pangaea, control dinosaurs and big creatures, so you get different kinds of 'vehicles' like the archer-ridden brontosaurus, or the balista artillery oliphants, long spear trex etc. and the usual footsoldiers and archers. if you remember the oliphants from LOTR, kinda like that). Battlefield: LOTR (gondor vs mordor) Battlefield: Ancient wars (any ancient dynasty like the romans, egyptians, greeks (goes back to 300)..etc)
I think its time to kill the Battlefield franchise, they have basically done it all. WWII, Vietnam, Modern Day Warfare, and Future conflicts. And I think Battlefield 1914 would be absolutely boring "oh hey, im just sitting in a trench, yada yada oh blimey, here comes some mustard gas."
Actually, I think they should make a singleplayer BF game. Perhaps set in Iraw, Afghanistan, or a fictional country...like a good version of Kuma War.
BF: The patriots - America vs English, frocusing more on melee combat. Some single shot guns, but rip out the swords, duel axes, spears, halberds, shields. Maybe throw in some "fatality" like kills (block a stab with a rifle, put it to their face and boom)
