The creators of Slender are making a new version of it call Slender: The Arrival with the help of another team, Blue Isle, having better visuals, more levels, and a storyline. No release date at this time. Looks even more creepy.

Sort of on topic: Am I the only one that doesn't find Slenderman to be scary.trastamad03
Slenderman himself isn't scary is the suspense that kills you.

The idea itself isn't even scary.
I think the game is looking too pretty to be scary, they need to keep it dark... think hl1 goldsrc engine level of darkness, that game was so dim I had to crank up the brightness to play iirc on my old crt.
I can imagine the visuals giving the game a more eerie, dreamlike quality. But I'm personally not very interested in that. And on the topic of what's scary and what's not, I find faceless men to be freaky looking. Everything else about the slender man--his suit, trademark slenderness, movement, is not scary. It's scary that if he gets close enough, you essentially die, but isn't the threat of dying always scary if (at least) suspense is involved?
How about we wait until we see some gameplay footage? Although I'd agree with the Alan Wake comment, got me excited for a moment. Slender is good for what it is but it lacks polish and so you complain when that's what we're getting? :lol:Looks like an FPS Alan Wake. For some reason I dont find it as enticing as the ugly version.

Yeah slender is a great exercise in tension but it only works like the first 3 times maybe. After that the novelty wears off.
A little more polish and effort into it and originality in the scares could make it great. Slender got that dude on the map big time though
You should check out the Google play store for android. Three out of the 30 Top New Paid games were some Slender variant when I checked a day or two ago.Slenderman really exploded, when Steam Greenlight went up there were lik 7 different slenderman games on there immediately.

Slender games on Android, my god. That sounds terrible. As pointless as all the remakes and variants are, why anyone would be playing something like that on their smartphone is beyond me..Slenderman really exploded, when Steam Greenlight went up there were lik 7 different slenderman games on there immediately.
