The Witcher vs Fallout 3?

Both games are $20 on steam, what is the better choice?

Witcher. If you want a good modern open-ended post-apocalyptic RPG go buy New Vegas instead.

I would wait for a witcher sale unless you really want it now. When its on sale goes for about $5. Also, last time I checked d2d and amazon had 20% off sales. Might want to check those out too.

FYI I thought Fallout 3 was boring but I can see why so many people like it. I definitely liked the Witcher more.

That is extremely hard to say...

The Witcher is more of an RPG in my mind, it has a far better made world, and far better characters and story, its simply a joy to play.

Fallout 3 is Much more Like Oblivion, Except from it has some more actural role play elements in it, it plays VERY similar tho. It has a bigger emphathys on exploration and dungeon crawling then The witcher.

So as others said, it is not really a matter of which is the better game, but rather which appeals more yto you, first person openworld post apocalyptic RPG? Or Liniar Storydriven medivalRPG?

The wild card tho is Fallout: Nev Vegas, It is a bit smaller more contained then FO3, but there are far more roleplaying, and a far better made world. It is however more expensive, so if it is due to the price of 20 bucks you look for, then this one is out.

already own fallout 3 GOTY edition, played a few minutes into it, will finish it one day,

but DAO and DAO 2 left me wanting more medieval RPGs, so I'm gonna get the Witcher enhanced version and pre order the Witcher 2 premium edition this week.

I would say The witcher is far better RPG also it is better to get enhanced edition.

Fallout New Vegas though? Well that is another story, that game just destroys Fallout3 imo in every single aspect except radio stations.

I was very dissapointed with Fallout3, but New Vegas really stepped it up and made me feel liek I wa splaying Fallout1/2 with better graphics.

If its just between Fallout3 and Witcher then definatly the witcher no question, but if you can some how get some extra money for New vegas then I would reccomend that, my fav game of 2010 was new Vegas.

The Witcher. I love Bethesda, but Fallout 3 was terrible.
